Studi Kasus di Bidang Prostodonsia merupakan buku pembelajaran yang menyajikan berbagai kasus klinis di bidang prostodonsia sebagai sarana untuk memperdalam pemahaman mahasiswa kedokteran gigi, peserta pendidikan dokter gigi spesialis (PPDGS) prostodonsia, serta praktisi dokter gigi. Buku ini disusun berdasarkan pengalaman penanganan kasus yang pernah dilakukan di Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Pendidikan (RSGMP) Universitas Airlangga, sehingga memberikan gambaran nyata mengenai praktik klinis dalam bidang prostodonsia.
Setiap kasus dipaparkan secara sistematis, mulai dari proses pemeriksaan pasien, penegakan diagnosis, perencanaan perawatan, hingga tahapan pelaksanaan terapi dan evaluasi hasil perawatan. Pembahasan juga mencakup pertimbangan klinis dalam menentukan pilihan perawatan yang tepat, khususnya dalam berbagai jenis perawatan gigi tiruan.
Dengan bahasa yang jelas dan mudah dipahami serta dilengkapi ilustrasi gambar, buku ini membantu pembaca memahami proses pengambilan keputusan klinis secara lebih komprehensif. Melalui pendekatan berbasis studi kasus, buku ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya wawasan, meningkatkan keterampilan analisis klinis, serta menjadi referensi pembelajaran yang bermanfaat dalam bidang prostodonsia.
