Synopsis

Buku ini membahas tentang lipid dan jenis-jenisnya, serta bagaimana metabolisme dan sirkulasinya di dalam tubuh. Kemudian menjabarkan beberapa penyakit yang ditimbulkan apabila kadar profil lipid tersebut tidak terkendali. Rumus dan perhitungan sederhana untuk menilai risiko jantung dengan memanfaatkan penanda lipid dijelaskan secara terperinci. Diharapkan, pembaca dapat memahami pengetahuan terkait profil lipid untuk mengurangi kejadian penyakit kardiovaskular (CVD) pada masyarakat di Indonesia.
