Synopsis

Buku ini berisi pembahasan mengenai gambaran umum tentang atresia bilier, proses imunitas yang menyertai, hingga peluang terapi steroid pada fase awal penyakit. Buku ini memberi informasi tentang atresia bilier mulai dari definisi, epidemiologi, manifestasi klinis, hingga terapi. Pada buku ini, imunopatologi atresia bilier dijelaskan, baik pada tahap imunitas alami hingga imunitas yang didapat. Bagaimana peran steroid, terutama pada proses inflamasi juga dijabarkan oleh penulis. Adanya teori imunopatologi yang baru pada atresia bilier menjadi dasar penelitian-penelitian yang dilakukan penulis untuk memperbaiki luaran dan prognosis atresia bilier yang saat ini belum sepenuhnya baik.
