Buku ini merupakan upaya kolaboratif yang memadukan pengetahuan mendalam dan pengalaman praktis dari tiga ahli yang luar biasa, Prof. Dr. Ir. Retna Apsari, Dra., M.Si., IPM., Andi Hamim Zaidan, M.Si, Ph.D., dan Herri Trilaksana, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D. Kolaborasi hebat juga dari seluruh anggota Research Group Center for Advanced Photonics, Departemen Fisika Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Airlangga, serta seluruh mahasiswa hebat di Kelompok Bidang Keahlian Fotonika dan Aplikasi Laser.
Bidang biofotonika dan laser telah menjadi fokus utama dalam berbagai aspek ilmu pengetahuan dan aplikasinya dalam kedokteran modern. Dalam buku ini, pembaca akan dihadapkan pada beragam topik yang mencakup dasar-dasar biofotonika, prinsip-prinsip teknologi laser, serta berbagai aplikasi klinis yang relevan. Ketiga penulis telah menyusun informasi dengan sistematis dan komprehensif, memastikan bahwa pembaca akan mendapatkan pemahaman yang kuat tentang subjek yang kompleks ini.
